1945 Born in the city of ‘Qalaat Saleh’ in the province of Maysan, southeast Iraq.
1952 - 1962 Completed his primary, middle, and secondary school studies.
1962 - 1966 Studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.

2020 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘More Than One Biography’ at Al-Orfali Gallery, in which 30 works were exhibited.
He has written many books since the 1980s and moved to several countries, including Syria, Libya, Jordan, Tunisia, and Norway.
He held several solo exhibitions and participated in many art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq.
He currently lives and works as a writer, professor of arts, and painter in Norway.

1945 وُلد الفنان في مدينة "قلعة صالح" من محافظة ميسان في جنوب شرق العراق.
1952 - 1962 أكمل دراسته المدرسية للابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية.
1962 – 1966 درس وتخرج من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد.
1966 – 1970 سافر إلى لوبيانا عاصمة سلوفينيا للدراسة في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة حيث حاز على شهادة الماجستير في فن الكرافيك.
1971 أقام أول معرض شخصي له في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1972 اشترك في معرض الفن العراقي للكرافيك في كاليري كونتاكت في بيروت في لبنان.
1974 اشترك في معرض السنتين العربي الأول في بغداد.
1977 اشترك في معرض نيسان الرابع في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1980 - 1984 حاز على شهادة الدكتوراه في الفنون التشكيلية من معهد بحوث الاتحاد في موسكو في روسيا.

2018 ألّف وأصدر كتاب بعنوان "الغايات" وتم نشره من مؤسسة إنانا لتكنلوجيا المعلومات - عمّان.
2019 ألّف وأصدر كتاب بعنوان "الشوق" وتم نشره من قبل دار الرافدين في بيروت وكتاب بعنوان "مبررات الرسم" وتم نشره من قبل دار الأديب للنشر في عمّان، الأردن.
2020 أقام معرضاً شخصياً بعنوان "أكثر من سيرة" في كَاليري الأورفلي وعرض فيه 30 عمل.
ألّف العديد من الكتب منذ الثمانينات وانتقل للعيش في عدة بلدان منها سوريا وليبيا والأردن وتونس والنرويج.
أقام عدة معارض شخصية واشترك في الكثير من المعارض الفنية داخل وخارج العراق.
يسكن ويعمل ككاتب وأديب وأستاذ فنون ورسام لغاية الآن في النرويج.
