"In recent years, Saad Shaker has moved to emphasize the aesthetic value of his ceramic work. In his attempt to grow, he is seeking to exploit color and mass as two basic values that unite organically in the ceramic work to place it in a location where it becomes an extension to sculpture and painting. Therefore, the ceramic work gains an individual expressive value that derives its existence from the interior worlds of the artist. Then he works with clay away from the wheel; innovates and rises to produce unique forms and shapes of gorgeous monumental features"
