The Ibrahimi Collection was honored to be visited by the expert and artist Haider Salem Al-Jaafari, it was a fruitful visit and tour in which the artist shared many of his memories on the history of art and artists. Haider Salem Al-Jaafari, born in 1945 in Baghdad, is responsible for the stores of the Arts Center (formerly Saddam Center for Arts), founder and official of the Department of Maintenance and Restoration at the Arts Center, and worked in the Arts Department with the artists Nazar ealim, Abdul Rahman Al-Kilani and Ismail Al-Sheikhly, and with the artist Layla Al-Attar in the Arts Center. And with the artist Amer Al-Obaidi when they were directors of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad. An expert for fifty years in Iraqi art works owned by government institutions and worked with many bodies to examine and document works. An expert in examining and documenting artworks in the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, he worked in dozens of government committees and looked into issues related to artworks by pioneering artists and artists of the sixties generation. He lives in Baghdad and works for the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in Al-Mansour.
تشرفت مجموعة الابراهيمي بزيارة الخبير والفنان التشكيلي حيدر سالم الجعيفري، وقد كانت زيارة وجولة مثمرة قدم فيها الفنان الكثير من ذاكرته عن تاريخ الفن والفنانين، كما اطلع على مجموعتنا الفنية وفحص عدد كبير من الأعمال وعاينها بشكل مباشر، جزيل الشكر لكم أستاذ حيدر ولوقتكم واهتمامكم..
حيدر سالم الجعيفري من مواليد 1945 في بغداد ومسؤول مخازن مركز الفنون (مركز صدام للفنون سابقاً)، مؤسس ومسؤول قسم الصيانة والترميم في مركز الفنون، وعمل في دائرة الفنون مع الفنانين نزار سليم، عبد الرحمن الكيلاني واسماعيل الشيخلي، ومع الفنانة ليلى العطار في مركز الفنون ومع الفنان عامر العبيدي عندما كانوا مدراء للمتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد. خبير لمدة خمسين عاماً في الأعمال الفنية العراقية المملوكة للمؤسسات الحكومية وعمل مع العديد من الجهات لفحص وتوثيق الأعمال.
خبير فحص وتوثيق الأعمال الفنية في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين عمل في عشرات اللجان الحكومية ونظر في المواضيع الخاصة بالأعمال الفنية للفنانين الرواد وفناني جيل الستينات. يسكن في بغداد ويعمل في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في المنصور.
