1958-1968 Completed his primary, middle, and secondary school studies.
1972-1976 Studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and obtained a diploma.
1976 Participated in the third April Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1977 Participated in the fourth April Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1978 Participated in the fifth April Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1978-1981 Studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a Bachelor's degree.
1986 - 1988 Studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a master's degree in fine arts. Then he was assigned as a teacher and researcher in fine arts at the University of Baghdad.
2000 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘A Cold Autumn’ at the Tigris Hall, Baghdad.
2003-2011 Appointed as Secretary of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in Baghdad.
2005 Obtained the title of professor at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.
2015 Participated in the exhibition ‘Beirut - Baghdad: A Message of Love’ at the UNESCO Palace, Beirut, Lebanon.
2016 Held a solo exhibition of miniatures entitled ‘I, the Moon and the Rain’ at Hiwar Hall, Baghdad. He participated in the retrospective annual exhibition at the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad, and the ‘Iraqi Painters’ exhibition by the Iraqi Fine Artists Association and the Lebanese Artists Association for Painting and Sculpture, Beirut.
2017 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Maqamat’ at Zaman Hall, Beirut, Lebanon, and participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad.
2018 Participated in the ‘Art of Words’ exhibition and a workshop of Arab women artists, Istanbul.
2026 Passed away at the age of seventy-five.

20 أغسطس 1951 وُلد الفنان في محافظة ميسان، العراق.
1958 - 1968 أكمل دراسته المدرسية للابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية.
1972 – 1976 درس وتخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد وحاز على شهادة الدبلوم.
1976 اشترك في معرض نيسان الثالث في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1977 اشترك في معرض نيسان الرابع في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1978 اشترك في معرض نيسان الخامس في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1978 - 1981 درس وتخرج من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد وحاز على شهادة البكالوريوس.
1986 - 1988 درس وتخرج من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد وحاز على شهادة الماجستير في الفنون التشكيلية. وأصبح أستاذاً تدريسياً وباحثاً في الفنون التشكيلية في الجامعة.
2000 أقام معرضاً شخصياً بعنوان "ذات خريف بارد" على قاعة دجلة في بغداد.
2003 – 2011 تم تعيينه أمين سر جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2005 حصل على لقب بروفيسور في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد.
2015 اشترك في معرض "بيروت ـ بغداد… رسالة محبّة" في قصر اليونيسكو في بيروت، لبنان.
2016 أقام معرضاً شخصياً للمصغرات بعنوان "أنا والبدر والمطر" على قاعة حوار في بغداد واشترك في المعرض السنوي الشامل في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد ومعرض "رسامون عراقيون" لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين وجمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين للرسم والنحت في بيروت.
2017 أقام معرضاً شخصياً بعنوان "مقامات" على قاعة زمان في بيروت، لبنان واشترك في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2018 اشترك في معرض فن الكلمات وورشة عمل محترَفات عربية في إسطنبول.
2026 توفي الفنان عن عمر يناهز الخامسة والسبعين عاماً.
