1957-1958 Graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1972 Received his Doctorate in Graphic Art from Dresden University of Technology in Dresden, Saxony, East Germany.
1974 Participated in the Cultural Festival of Al-Thawra Newspaper in Baghdad.
1980 Participated in the 7th Party Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1981 Held a solo exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1985 Participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Graphic Exhibition at the Al-Orfali Gallery, Baghdad.
1986 Wrote a book, ‘Paper Printing Techniques’, for the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad.
1992 Wrote another book, ‘Foundations of Design’, for the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad.
For twenty years, he worked as a professor in the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad.
2012 Passed away in Baghdad at the age of seventy-seven after battling a chronic illness, and a memorial ceremony was held for him at the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad.

1957 -1958 تخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد.
1972 نال شهادة الدكتوراه في فن الكرافيك من جامعة دريسدن التقنية في مدينة دريسدن والتي تقع في ولاية ساكسونيا شرق ألمانيا.
1974 اشترك في المهرجان الثقافي لجريدة الثورة في بغداد.
1980 اشترك في معرض نيسان السابع على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1981 أقام معرضاً شخصياً في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1985 اشترك في معرض الكرافيك العراقي المعاصر على قاعة الأورفلي في بغداد.
1986 ألّف كتاب منهجي بعنوان "تقنيات الطباعة الورقية" لمعهد الفنون التطبيقية في بغداد.
1992 ألّف كتاب آخر بعنوان "أسس التصميم" لكلية الفنون الجميلة في بغداد.
عمل أستاذاً في قسم الهندسة المعمارية في كلية الهندسة في جامعة بغداد.
2012 توفي الفنان في بغداد بعد معاناة مع المرض عن عمر يناهز السابعة وسبعين عاماً وأقيم له حفل تأبيني في كلية الهندسة في جامعة بغداد.
