April 24, 73 Artist Wijdan Al-Majed was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1980 - 1990 She completed her elementary, middle and high school studies in Baghdad schools.
1991 - 1995 She studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, and obtained a BA in Fine Arts.
1997 She held a solo exhibition in Tunisia.
1998 She held a solo exhibition in Tunisia.
2004 She participated in the Monastir International Exhibition in Monastir, Tunisia.
2005 She participated in the Monastir International Exhibition in Monastir.
2008 She participated in the International Monastir Exhibition in Monastir and the inaugural exhibition of the Bayariq Hall.
2009 She participated in an exhibition at Ishtar Gallery.
2012 She participated in the retrospective festival of contemporary Iraqi plastic art on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Communist Party at Akkad Hall of Art in Baghdad.
2013 She participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Spaces - Joint Annual Fine Exhibition" at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2014 She participated in "Iraqi Talawin" in Kuwait and the Fine Art Festival commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Communist Party at Hewar Art Gallery and the "Baghdad in the Eyes of Its Creators" exhibition on the halls of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2015 She participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad and the "Iraqi Plastic Artists" exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2016 She participated in the professors' exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad and the "Iraqi Ceramists" exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2017 She participated in the Victory Gallery at the Art Department in Baghdad.
2018 She participated in the exhibition of the Fine Artists Association in Baghdad and the Fujairah International Festival in the Emirates.
2019 She participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad and the Kosovo Watercolor Biennale at the National Kosovo Museum in Kosovo.
2020 She participated in the second international virtual exhibition "Aesthetics of Contemporary Art" at the College of Fine Arts in Diyala.
She won several awards from several art exhibitions and festivals inside and outside Iraq.
She lives in Baghdad and works in her private studio dedicated to her art.

2012 اشتركت في المهرجان الشامل للفن التشكيلي العراقي المعاصر لمناسبة الذكرى 78 لتأسيس الحزب الشيوعي العراقي على قاعة أكد للفنون في بغداد.
2013 اشتركت في معرض "فضاءات عراقية - المعرض التشكيلي السنوي المشترك" في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2014 اشتركت في "تلاوين عراقية" في الكويت ومهرجان الفن التشكيلي في ذكرى 80 عام لتأسيس الحزب الشيوعي العراقي على قاعة حوار للفنون ومعرض "بغداد في عيون مبدعيها" على قاعات جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2015 اشتركت في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد ومعرض "تشكيليات عراقيات" في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2016 اشتركت في معرض الأساتذة في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في بغداد ومعرض "خزافون عراقيون" في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2017 اشتركت في معرض النصر في دائرة الفنون في بغداد.
2018 اشتركت في معرض جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين في بغداد ومهرجان الفجيرة الدولي في الإمارات.
2019 اشتركت في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد وبينالي كوسوڤو للألوان المائية في متحف كوسوڤو الوطني في كوسوڤو.
2020 اشتركت في المعرض الافتراضي الدولي الثاني "جماليات الفن المعاصر" في كلية الفنون الجميلة في ديالى.
حازت على عدة جوائز من عدة معارض فنية ومهرجانات داخل وخارج العراق.
تسكن في بغداد وتعمل في الأستوديو الخاص متفرغة لفنها.
